Mediational Field - Susumu Hirasawa
Paprika is one of the best Japanese anime movies I’ve ever seen. Akin to Inception, it’s a story about a therapist who enters people dreams in order to help them overcome a strong emotional problem that rots inside of them. The entire film is a trip into the surreal with it’s beautiful conceptualization of the complex dream world and its deep symbolism. Most of what we experience is perception, life is different for every single person because we all perceive situations, environments, and people completely differently. Our perceptive abilities reach it’s peak when we enter the realm of our dreams. There we create our own reality as we imagined it. It’s a hyper-reality where everything you experience in real-life is transformed by the imagination with every single little detail having a deep meaning attached to it that helps us learn vital lessons about ourselves. Dreams are reality masking itself in the surreal.
“In a world of inhumane reality, it is the only humane sanctuary left. That is a dream. That parade is full of refugees who were unwillingly chased out of reality.”
This song is great
Eva, Spirited Away, and Princess Mononoke.
This Album was $20 spent well.
I love this soundtrack so much.
이미지만큼이나 음악도 황홀했던. 절 그런 세계로 초대해주셨던 것 다시한번 이 노래를 들으며 감사해하겠습니다. 비록 곤사토시님은 이미 곤했지만..
A Drop Filled With Memories
OMG I LOVE THIS MOVIE. In memory...late Satoshi Kon…I wish I had known
I have this soundtrack and sometimes I play it when people are around and they just go “wtf?” But no really, I love this...
Sounds like a part of The Girl in Byakkoya.
